In the four decades since the launch of the Times of Oman – the country’s leading English language newspaper – the company has set the benchmark for journalism in the Sultanate and debuted a series of industry firsts. In 2005, Muscat Media Group was the first media company in the GCC to invest in technology and introduce an online edition for both its Arabic and English daily newspapers, followed by mobile-optimised versions in 2008.
